Brewers outfielder and Bowling Green native Corey Hart joined the ranks of the BluGrass Baseball walking wounded Sunday when he was taken to the hospital for an emergency appendectomy.  Hart will likely miss at least a month.  This news is terrible for the Brewers, who are in the middle of a four-team race for the National League Central race.

The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports that utility man Bill Hart will be called up from AAA Nashville to replace Hart.
