  • The Asheville Tourists scored four runs in the eighth inning to defeat Lexington 6-2.
  • Anthony Scelfo’s home run paced the Bowling Green offense in a 7-3 victory over Greenville.
  • Former Louisville Cardinal Trystan Magnuson extended his scoreless innings streak to 10 to start his AA career for the New Hampshire Fisher Cats.
  • The C-J reports that Rick Sweet was named International League manager of the year and Justin Lehr was named IL Pitcher of the Year.
