Need a little motivation to keep up with the final two-plus weeks of the MLB season? Well here you go, Arizona Diamondback’s third baseman Mark Reynolds is two home runs from setting the single-season record for home runs by a Kentucky-born player. Reynolds currently has 42 home runs, two shy of Jay Buhner’s record of 44 from 1996.  Buhner has three of the top four home run seasons by Kentucky natives.
