Wunderlich named Louisville Slugger All-American

Louisville Slugger has released its preseason All-American team and one Kentucky collegian made the cut. University of Louisville designated hitter Phil Wunderlich was named to the third-team squad. Wunderlich led the Cardinals with a .367 batting average in 2009 and ranked second on the team with 18 home runs and 78 RBI. The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association named him a second-team postseason All-American following the season.
