- Western Kentucky University (21) scored three runs in the first two innings and the pitching staff held on for a 3-2 win over Belmont Wednesday. Junior catcher Matt Rice had two hits, and sophomore outfielder Jared Andreoli had two RBI. Redshirt sophomore right-handed reliever Ross Hammonds tallied the win, and redshirt sophomore closer Rye Davis record his seventh save. (Box Score)
- Eastern Kentucky University held off a late rally from East Tennessee to hold on to a 7-2 victory Wednesday. Sophomore designated hitter Jacob Daniel was 1-1 with a home run, two RBI, two runs scored and a walk. Junior right-handed reliever Stephen Hefler recorded the win and junior closer Ryne Purcell tallied his seventh save. (Box Score)
- Cincinnati scored eight runs in the the eighth inning and a ninth-inning Morehead State University rally fell short in its 9-7 loss to the Bearcats. Junior outfielder J. D. Ashbrook was 3-4 with a run scored, and sophomore right-handed pitcher Matthew Robertson surrendered three runs in seven innings for a no decision. Redshirt sophomore reliever Josh Schneider took the loss. (Box Score)
