The Logan County Little League team fell victim to the powerful team from California in their first round of the round robin portion of the Little League World Series.  Logan County will play the team from San Antonio, Tex., at 2 p.m. on ABC Sunday.

• The Logan Little League team suffered the “10-Run Rule” in a 15-0 loss to California.
• The Bowling Green Hot Rods fell 5-3 to Kannapolis.
• Lexington ended its 12-game losing streak with a 9-4 win over Greensboro.
• Louisville lowered its magic number to nine with a 4-2 win over Indianapolis.
