Northwestern State finished a three-game sweep of Murray State University Sunday with a 12-3 victory. The loss was the Racers’ sixth in a row and dropped Murray to 4-6 on the season. Just three Racers record a hit in the game, and only one Murray State player drove in a run. Senior right-handed pitcher Dan Huff took the loss after allowing seven runs in four and two-third innings. (Box Score)
BluGrass Baseball POG: Matt McGaha — The Racers had almost no luck on offense Sunday, and three of the four pitchers in the game gave up at least two runs. McGaha was the lone exception. He held Northwestern State hitless for two and one-third innings and struck out one.
