Reynolds slugs 100th career home run

Arizona Diamondbacks third baseman Mark Reynolds, born in Pikeville, became the tenth player born in Kentucky to record 100 career home runs with a two-run long ball in the fifth inning Thursday. Reynolds is third on the active Kentucky native home run list behind Dan Uggla (132) and Austin Kearns (108).
